Mooring Winch Retrofit Program
You have enough to worry about with day to day operations of your vessel. You don’t need the extra worry and safety hazard of your vessel breaking away from it’s moorings due to defective winches. Dilts Piston Hydraulics Inc. can cost effectively retrofit your winches.

Your winch retrofit will include the following:

Dismantling and complete mechanical inspection.

Sandblasting
-
Refurbishment / replacement of mechanical components.

Replacement of all major hydraulic components, utilizing a 50 HP TEFC marine duty electric motor, new series Sunstrand pump and hydraulic motor and cartridge type valving.

Installation of a new hydraulic cooler complete with thermostatic control.
-
Supply and installation of an electric reservoir heater c/w thermostatic control.

Interconnection of hydraulic components with hoses where possible.

Installation of moisture absorbent breathers.
-
All components will have suitable guarding against cable damage.

Finishing with two coats of high quality epoxy paint.
-
Mounting on our test base and thorough testing at appropriate pressures. All test results are recorded.

Reinstallation and commissioning on-board your vessel if required.
